All hands are on deck to end the feud between Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and daughter of former governor of the state, Michael AjSin, Jumoke Anifowose.
Both belong to the All Progressives Congress ( APC ).
Jumoke contested the party’s last gubernatorial primary that produced Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, lost and later challenged the primary at the High Court.
She lost the case but has appealed the judgement at the Appeal Court.
Olówó of Ọwọ, Ọba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye, who made this known, said the rift will soon fade away.
The Oba speaking in an exclusive interview with Western Post in his Palace in Ọwọ, the headquarters of Ọwọ Local Government area of the state, maintained that, both Akeredolu and Jumoke Anifowose are his children, stating that rift is expected to be settled soon.
According to him, “I want to believe that both of them are of the same family by all standards and the rift between them will soon be settled in due time. They are all from this town, same local government and same political party. we are aware of the rift and it will be settled soon “.
