Wife of Ondo State Governor, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, recently brought laughter into the hitherto dull life of the young widow and mother of a set of triplets, Bukola Afolabi, as she presented gift items to her and her triplets.
The young mother lost her husband two months into her pregnancy.
Same items were also made available to another mother of triplets, to Bola Olayinka, at the Government House, Alagbaka, Akure .
Mrs Akeredolu promised to help train Afolabi, the widowed mother in Information Communication and Technology (ICT), to enable her be self independent.
She told the young mothers to take up family planning in order to remain healthy and better manage their families.
Adekola Olawoye, Attorney- General and commissioner for Justice, who received the gifts items on behalf of Olayinka, used the opportunity to thank the first lady for her kind gesture.
Margaret Atere, Chairman, Akure South Local Government, expressed appreciation at the first lady’s act of benevolence, saying Ondo State people are lucky to have her.
