The disolved Akeredolu State Executive Council approved before its dissolution, an Indigenous anthem that projects the tradition and culture of the Yoruba tribe.

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu made the announcement at the valedictory meeting of the State Executive Council, where the anthem was rendered by members, as well as staff of the cultural troope of the state Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Lyrics of the Oodua Anthem goes thus; Ise wa fun ile wa,

Fun Ile Ibi Wa, Ka gbee ga

Ka gbee ga, Ka gbee ga fun aye ri, Igbagbo wa ni pe Bati beru la bomo Ka sise,

Ka sise, Ka sise ka jo la,

Isokan ati ominira, Ni ke je ka maa lepa, Tesiwaju f opo ire Ati ohun to dara, Omo Oodua dide Bo si ipo eto re , Iwo ni imole Gbogbo Adulawo.

Governor Akeredolu directed that the anthem be sung immediately after the National Anthem at all official and public functions in the state.
