26-year-old Biochemistry graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Olawole Omotoso, has won the maiden edition of the N1m seed fund of the Feed Tonight Foundation entrepreneurship programme.

At the final pitch and prize presentation ceremony of the initiative in Lagos, the Managing Director, Culture Communications Ltd, promoters of Feed Tonight Foundation, Mr Yomi Benson, said in the last nine months, the foundation fed over 5000 people and put  smiles on the faces of the hungry.

He disclosed that his Foundation extended the initiative to entrepreneurship, as the idea shouldn’t be about feeding people with fish alone but also teaching them to fish. “We embarked on this not because we have huge funds, but because we believe we need to support young and brilliant Nigerians who have ideas that could have spiral effects on the economy and the society. It is our hope that we will be able to sustain this and make it bigger as the years roll by” .
