Iya Oloja of Ondo State, Chief ( Mrs ) Akinfemiwa Iwalola, is dead.
The Ondo Kingdom indigene, died at the age of 72.
Mourning her, market women in the state described her as a market leader who dedicated her life to the development and progress of markets in the state.
She was further seen by colleagues in markets and other market men and women as humble and commitment to the serivce of all.
Special Adviser to the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, Bola Ilori, while condoning with the children and family of the late Chief (Mrs) Akinfemiwa Iwalola, commiserated with the people of Ondo kingdom and market women across the state on the loss of the mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
He praised the late Iyaloja’s virtues, saying she was an embodiment of feminine honour whose love and passion for community development and peace remained unparalleled.
According to Ilori, the reign of the late Iyaloja was synonymous with loyalty, cooperation, dedication to humanity, sustainability of good governance and total commitment to issues affecting the state’s continued peace, progress.
