
Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, called on the Federal Government to swiftly deliver the Lagos – Ibadan expressway adjudged the busiest in Africa, noting that generations unborn will remain grateful to the Jonathan administration for the overhauling of the road which has become a dead trap.
He described the flag- off of the reconstruction of the expressway expected to cost N167 billion by President Goodluck Jonathan, as an evidence of government’s sensitivity and demonstration of its good and noble intentions. He described the Federal Government’s decision to reconstruct the road Mimiko as noble , stating that the administration had written its name in gold for taking the bull by the horn and ensuring a lasting solution to the dead trap .
Mimiko pleaded with the President to ensure that the project was professionally handled and delivered on time.
