The sum of N13b received from the Universal Basic Education Commission ( UBEC ), as well as counterpart fund from the state’s State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) funds, has given a new lease of life to the education sector in the state.

It has led to a boost in infrastructural regeneration and halted the decay of infrastructure in that sector of the economy.

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu noted that his administration’s intervention in the sector through the funds, as well as funds from the state’s annual budget, have greatly reduced out of school children in the state.

He gave the assurance that his government would continue to invest heavily to improve the high standard of education for the state had carved a niche.
