The state Accountant General, Mr Laolu Akindolire, who tenure expired recently, has received a three months extension from the State Government.
The gesture lapses on the 12th of April, 2021, when a new Accountant General would be appointed.
Information and Orientation Commissioner, Donald Ojogo, explained that the governor’s magnanimity is in the overall interest of the smooth running of government.
It is equally aimed at staving off unnecessary hitches as the government inches towards a period of transition within the three months grace.
Governor Akeredolu enjoined Mr. Akindolire to discharge his duties with renewed vigour as always.
