Ondo State Government has organized a capacity building workshop for private school owners in the state.
It was put in place as part of efforts to further boost education in the state.
It is expected to put the school owners on the same page with the State Government.
Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Ondo State, Olufemi Agagu, addressed participants and declared the event open.
The workshop was tagged; ” Quality Assurance in Private Schools: School Development Plan (SDP) Framework ” and was organized by the Inspectorate and Quality Assurance Department, Ministry of Education .
One of the expectations of the training was reintroducing private school owners to best quality assurance practices in the 21st century.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Mrs. Lola Amuda, also addressed participants at the workshop.
