Traders at the Ondo State Magistrate Court Shopping Complex have sought the sum of two million naira from the Ondo State Endsars Panel, for police brutality and other matters.
Their counsel, Joshua Sebiotimo, appealed to the panel to recommend the sum, in order to alleviate the sufferings of affected traders.
Ten cases were closed for recommendations by the panel.
The seven traders whose businesses range from food vending to business center operation and sale of provisions, approached the panel to seek support following the destruction of their sources of livelihood.
Some of the traders, Janet Olorunsola, Racheal Samuel and Olorundamilola Iwanefun, decried the level of damage done to their property while emphasizing their belief in the panel to make a case for them with government
The case of Mrs Aina Apuwabi whose husband, as police officer, was killed during the endsars agitation and that of Okitipupa local government headquarters were heard and closed.
The case of Ondo State Internal Revenue Service was adjourned indefinitely due to the absence of one of the witnesses.
The petition by Mr. Oluwatobi Famuwagun was adjourned to 18th of February for definite hearing while that of the Nigeria Correctional Service was adjourned to the 25th of February.
