As the October gubernatorial election in the state draws nearer, some proponents of Isaacs Kekemeke have outlined his sterling qualities that singles him out to oust incumbent Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
In 1992, he was a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly and equally the Minority Leader, he knows how the House operates. Again, when he was in government in 2003 under Dr. Olusegun Agagu’s administration, he was the Chief Law officer of the state.
As the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, he knows exactly what laws are available and to impact it positively and can be amended for the good of the people. He’s not going there on trial and error basis.
Kekemeke was also the chief Infrastructure Officer for the state as the Commissioner for Works, Lands, Housing and Transport and knows how to manage relationship between party and members, one of the major challenges facing the APC ruling party.
He was also once the Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in this state and coming to APC, Kekemeke was the pioneer Chairman of APC in Ondo State and has the antecedence of bringing people together to win the state for APC in the 2015 presidential election.
