May we meet you?
Ayanberu Opeyemi, indigene of Ondo State and student at the Lagos State Polytechnic, studying Banking and Finance.
I was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Ayanberu, both from Ikole, Irele Ekun in Ondo State. My father is from the Oyelero family and mother, Akintade family.
I am a footballer and I have been in the game for some years now. I play for Tokas Queens.
They have been very supportive from the onset. They are my backbone and I really appreciate them.
So far, so good?.
There are lots of challenges that I have encountered but I never allow them to deprive me of my passion. For football, so far, so good., that was in . For the past four years, I have participated in a challenge cup match that was in 2006 2007. For the past four years, my team, Tokas Queens, has been the defending champion, winning the trophy consecutively in Nigeria.
Development in Ondo State
Its unfortunate that I have not been there of recent, but the last time I visited the place, I found that the road from Irele to my home town was superb, light and water were there and the environment was very impressive. Kudos to government
What should be put in place
Well, as a sports person, I will advice government to encourage grassroots footballers and other sports by providing kits and more recreation centres; field. That will enhance their potentials for the benefit of the state.
Wow; five years is too much for me. I will say few years and I see myself playing for the national team.
Ekimogun is really trying and I wish many people will come on board to support the project because it is a nice medium of promoting Ondo State.
