A total of 5, 144 individuals and 828 companies have so far benefitted from the Federal Government’s Payroll Support Fund, under the Survival Fund Scheme in the State in the last three months.
Thirteen thousand (13, 000) slots were allocated to the state.
Focal person for the Fund in the state, Kosemani Kolawole, stated that with the large a number of beneficiaries, it was clear that government’s objectives were being met.
She called on those yet to register to come forward and do so while private business enterprises that have registered but were yet to receive their payments, should be patient.
Interacting with beneficiaries at a session in Akure, she said, “This is the first component. Other components have been benefiting too. There are five components; apart from the payroll support fund.
